Local Artist Features
Our Local Artist Features include a visit to your studio or workspace to hear all about your creative process and what inspires you as an artist. It also includes:

A chance to sell your work: Our ladies are looking to purchase unique goods and having small works that can easily fit into luggage or be shipped readily available make for some great sales!
Small intimate group: We like to keep our groups small and intimate which is great for visiting a studio, our groups are usually around 8-15 women.
Photographers
Are you a photographer who loves to retreat? We are looking for photographers who have experience with groups and candid lifestyle shots who are interested in a highly discounted retreat rate in exchange for photos. Reach out through our contact page for more info!
Guest Artists
Will receive a fantabulous Retreat Package including roundtrip airfare, private top-tier accommodations, meal package, activities (day trips, cooking classes, local workshops, wine tasting, artisan market visits, etc.) valued at $4,000+
Spotlight Features on our Retreat Page and our Social Media
We handle ALL the logistics, which includes…well, a lot!
Designing an amazing retreat package: which entails scouting destinations and venues for unique experiences, activities, and exploration of surrounding areas.
Deposits/ Payments: We handle all the deposits and all the financial risk if the trip doesn’t go. We also process all payments through our secure system.
Advertising/Retreat Page: We handle all advertising, including designing a gorgeous retreat page you can share with your following.
Legalities/Waiver forms: This is a big one because most artists are unaware of all the legalities and liability involved in leading groups internationally, especially in the era of covid.
You need airtight legal forms along with liability, business, and event insurance to protect yourself from any liabilities while traveling.
Travel Concierge/Host: We want your focus to be on teaching and having a fun time! We’ll be hosting and handling all the day-to-day logistics!
Additional Compensation: Competitively based on teaching experience and reach.
What Sets Us Apart
We work a bit differently than our booking platform competitors; our guest artists are just that, our guests!
Our Artists are not responsible for advertising, selling seats, communicating with guests, travel arrangements or any of the numerous responsibilities that come with hosting, we handle all the communication leading up to the retreat & each retreat has a dedicated host on site.
Limited Workshops and Supplies Included out of eight days our Guest Artists only teach on three! Students are responsible for bringing in their own art supplies,so no lugging in a bunch of supplies either!
Our retreats are not centered around our Guest Artist & are more about celebrating our destination with local artist features and excursions, so you can sit back, relax, and retreat yourself!
Bespoke Itineraries & Luxury Venues each retreat features a handcrafted itinerary with unique activities like visiting a 13th-century paper mill or the private atelier of a world renown perfumer along with stays at gorgeous luxury venues from Chateaus and Castles to Ocean View Villas.
Supporting Small and Women Owned When you travel with us you’re not only supporting Small & Women Owned but all the artisans we choose to feature and the family and small businesses we work with!
What we Look For
Artists with a large following and built-in customer base
Have Experience with and are comfortable teaching.
Are well-connected to their students via newsletters and social media.
Can execute workshops that are travel friendly as in not too process heavy and that require minimal supply list (such as watercolors & acrylics) * Please note we are not interested in process heavy arts like encaustic or cyanotype at this time.
