Explore off the beaten path wineries, dine on chef prepared farm to fork fare and experience all this region has to offer with walking tours, market visits and private vineyard excursions.
Along the way, we’ll lead you through creative prompts as we take time to gather inspiration from the beautiful places we visit. Our featured local artists Sally Ann Langley & Alex Cole have designed custom workshops from Market Florals to Wine Country Landscapes!
This journey is for anyone looking to explore their creative side and all of our activities and workshops are for beginners and seasoned artists alike! No Art experience necessary!
Celebrate all Sonoma Valley has to offer with visits to local farmers markets, quirky antique shops and artisan makers, dive into the region’s food scene with a custom culinary food tour and create surrounded by nature with a special botanical perfume workshop & scenic vineyard picnic are just a few highlights of this unforgettable adventure!

Sonoma is known for its vibrant and diverse food scene and farm-to-table approach showcasing local ingredients. It’s a popular destination for foodies, with many restaurants highlighting the region’s local produce and farms!
We’ll be savoring it all with a custom culinary tour that features everything from cheese to chocolate, along with a special champagne opening celebration and scrumptious Chef’s Table farm-to-fork farewell dinner!
Meet our Featured Artists
Meet Alex Cole
A Sonoma institution, Alex is known for her atmospheric landscapes and soothing color palettes. From teaching to years as a fine arts director, Alex has played a key role in the local Sonoma art scene and we couldn’t be more excited for a workshop with her!
Alex will be teaching her signature landscapes in “ Wine Country Landscapes” a fun class inspired by the surrounding naturescapes Sonoma is known for.
”What inspires me most about teaching is encouraging artists and non-artists alike to find the fun in letting go, unplugging and tapping into their creative selves!”
Meet Sally Ann Langley
An award-winning watercolorist and illustrator, from national licensing and magazine illustrations to book covers and even Napa Valley wine labels, her work is both whimsical and colorful!
Sally will be teaching us her signature florals with a twist in “A Day at the Market,” a fun workshop inspired by vintage market posters.
“Being surrounded by all this natural beauty is a huge influence on my work which is inspired by the abundant flora and fauna of my adopted home. My work features colorful, stylized botanicals and landscapes inspired by the patterns and textures to be found in nature.”
Meet Carole Addison – Goyne
From an executive with Aveda to studying under numerous world-renowned perfumers, Carole has perfected her craft, leading her to create her own company, Nomad Botanicals.
Carole will be teaching us the ancient history of scents, the process of perfume making along with guiding us as we each create our own custom perfume to take home!
“We love to share nature’s treasures from land to sea. From our Nomad Estate garden in Sonoma to the bountiful sanctuaries around us, we incorporate our harvests into seasonal small batch offerings as well as a handful of “evergreen” products that you can enjoy year-round.”

I can’t tell you how excited I am to showcase the beautiful state I live in and one of my favorite regions to visit!
With over a decade of experience in the travel industry and as a professional artist, it’s been a long-time dream to merge the two and offer unforgettable journeys that both nurture your creative side and immerse you in local culture.
I’ve cooked up a seriously dreamy itinerary that has a taste of it all! We’ll not only be staying in a charming town surrounded by beautiful naturescapes but with creative workshops and amazing day trips this retreat is the perfect place to nurture your creative side!

Our Itinerary
(This retreat has TWO departures! Both itineraries are identical)
Day 1: THURSDAY JUNE 4TH/11TH – Arrival & Private Champagne Lounge Opening Soiree
Arrival in Sonoma, get refreshed and in the evening meet us for a fun Opening Celebration and Champagne Soiree!
Join us in our private Champagne Lounge as we toast to our new adventure while sipping bubbly and snacking on yummy nibbles from artisan charcuterie to decadent truffles!
End the night with a goodie bag full of cool local finds!
DAY 2: Friday, June 5th/12th – FARMERS MARKET, HISTORIC WALKING & CULINARY TOUR, OLIVE OIL & WINE TASTING, ARTISAN SHOP FEATURES, A DAY AT THE MARKET WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP
Join us as we explore the colorful local Farmers Market as we gather inspiration for our workshop later in the day.
The adventure continues with a special historic walking and culinary tour. We’ll start with a family-owned cheese shop (umm, yes, please) and make our way through everything from a special lunch to homemade ice cream, chocolates, olive oil & balsamic, and of course, wine tasting for the full experience!
After stuffing ourselves with scrumptious delights we’ll be stopping in at a few of our favorite local makers and women-owned businesses with free time to shop!
Afterwards, we’ll settle into our first creative workshop with local artist Sally Ann Langley. Taking inspiration from our visit to the farmers market, Sally will walk us through creating an adorable watercolor market scene that highlights all the sights from the day.
Day 3: Saturday, June 6th/13th – COUNTRY ANTIQUE SHOP VISIT, CUSTOM SONOMA VALLEY WINE TOUR, PRIVATE TASTINGS AND VINEYARD PICNIC
Our journey begins as we set off into the countryside! Our first stop will be to an adorable women-owned antique shop nestled in the hills and surrounded by vineyards. This cop-op features antiques from different women collectors and it’s always a treasure hunt as you never know what you may find!
Our adventure continues with a custom wine tasting tour! Enjoy sweeping vistas as we weave and wind our way through the valley! Known for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs this region is unique as it offers its own microclimate with the nearby ocean breezes.
We’ll enjoy private tasting at multiple wineries soaking the varietals this region is famous for. For lunch we’ll stop at an idyllic vineyard where we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch while surrounded by nature.
Day 4: SUNDAY, June 7TH/14TH – WINE COUNTRY LANDSCAPES WORKSHOP, BOTANICAL PERFUME CLASS, FARM TO FORK CHEF’S TABLE FAREWELL DINNER
Join us as we gather for another creative workshop this time with famed local artist Alex Cole! Taking inspiration from the surrounding countryside that Sonoma is known for, Alex will be walking us through creating our very own “Wine Country Landscapes” for the perfect memento of our time here!
You’ll leave with not one but a series of three petite landscapes that include matting to travel home in so they’re ready to frame when you get back from your travels!
Enjoy some free time for lunch at one of the many nearby cafes. In the afternoon it’s all things perfume with a special Botanical Perfume Workshop with Carole Addison Goyne of Nomad Botanicals!
Carole will be sharing the ancient history and symbolism of scents along with the process behind crafting perfume. This hands-on experience includes sampling over 20 scents and crafting your own signature scent that speaks to you. Everyone will leave with their own personal perfume to take home!
In the evening join us for a special Farm to Fork farewell dinner at the infamous Bridge Table of El Dorado Kitchen that features a first-row view of the chefs in action! Experience a three-course dinner featuring the best seasonal ingredients & of course some local vino to go with it!
Day 5: Monday, June 8TH/15th – DEPARTURE
